Old Home Sweet Home Where I Was Raised

Yes, Dear Friends, this is where my brother Michael, my sisters Marianne and Grace, and I would call home. Memories of Family, Friends still come to mind as I pass by.
In my heart I still feel the warmth of those who are long past, and recall the ticks (popping chewing gum) of some and the complete wonderment of others.

To all I wish you Health and Happiness.

Alice Harriet Caldwell Duquet.
I like some I know would say this song is appropriate.
I Remember You
Words & Music by Johnny Mercer & Victor Schertzinger, 1942
Recorded by Frank Ifield, 1962 First recorded by Jimmy Dorsey, 1942 (#9)
Adapted from an arrangement by Reed Kotler at justjazz.com*

I remember you --

You're the one who made my dreams come true
A few kisses ago.

I remember you --

You're the one who said, "I love you, too."

I do...didn't you know?

I remember, too, distant bells and stars that

Fell like the rain out of the blue

When my life is through

And the angels ask me to recall

The thrill of them all

Then I will tell them I remem- ber you.

I remember, too, distant bells and stars that

Fell like the rain out of the blue

When my life is through

And the angels ask me to recall

The thrill of them all

Then I will tell them I remem - ber

Tell them I remember

Tell them I remem - ber you.

I Get To Show Off, just a bit.

I am just showing off a little. This is the wisteria in our front yard. Now in full bloom. Of course, the wind is blowing so it may not last long ................. the plum tree blossoms went with last weeks winds so not many pictures. Those of you that live in town.....come by it is really beautiful. This year we didn't pay any attention to it because I knew it was going to freeze.....trick on me!

This masterpiece ( bragging again) came from a sucker from a tree we planted and it died several years ago so we watched this one grow from the sucker and each year it got bigger......... many years the buds froze and didn't make much of a show..........this year ....IT DID!
